Vattenfall has filed applications for both projects, while other developers expected to participate are Dong Energy and Germany’s WPD among a total of 26 bids.
Dong won the tender for the 700MW Borssele 1&2 projects with a price of €72.70/MWh.
Borssele 3&4 is slated for commissioning in 2020 and is the second of five bidding rounds planned by the Netherlands.
The country aims to have 4.5GW of offshore wind capacity installed by 2023.
