RVO, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, has awarded Blix Consultancy the contract for soil site characterisation work for Doordewind Wind Farm Zone (WFZ).
Together with dGB Earth Sciences and GEO2 Engineering, Blix Consultancy is supporting RVO to provide detailed information on the site conditions at Doordewind WFZ, which can be used for the future tendering and development of this area.
The tender called for a team of experts, including a lead expert to optimise the interface between RVO, specialist experts, and future contractors.
The team will provide in-depth geophysical, geotechnical, morphodynamical, and ground modelling expert support throughout the various stages of the project.
Blix senior consultant for offshore wind Jeroen Godtschalk said: “As we have already been working with RVO for almost 10 years, we are excited to continue to move the offshore wind business forward together.
“We believe in providing quality expert support, and our team is ready to bring all their experience into the preparations of this new Wind Farm Zone.”
