ABO Wind has sold three wind farms in Spain with a combined capacity over 88MW to an unnamed international investor for an undisclosed amount.
The German company developed the Chinchilla, Barrax and Soliedra projects, which will be grid-connected within the next two years.
ABO Wind managing director Karsten Schlageter said: “By obtaining the pivotal approval for all three projects this year, the Spanish team attained the crucial milestone payment from the buyer.
“In the near future, we expect many more project successes in Spain.”
He added that the company is working on 600MW of more wind and 1GW of solar in Spain.
ABO Wind has secured network access for the majority of these projects, he said.
Some will be constructed by ABO, while others will be sold ready for building, Schlageter added.
