Buss Offshore Solutions and the French outfit Idea Groupe have confirmed a joint venture to provide logistics support to the French offshore wind market.
The confirmation follows the signing of a declaration of intent in Hamburg in September 2018.
Buss Idea Offshore and Buss Offshore Solutions chief executive Martin Schulz said: “We are officially offering the French market our tailor-made logistics services for the first time and we are proud to be able to contribute our experience from the fields of transport and port logistics for offshore wind farms in the North Sea and Baltic Sea on this future-focused growth market.”
Buss Idea Offshore and Idea business development director Cedric Valmalle said: “The strength of our joint venture lies in the fact that our services and experiences complement each other perfectly.”
