The Danish Energy Agency has opened an eight-week consultation on the results of a key environmental study for the 1GW Thor offshore wind farm.
The consultation on the environmental report with the strategic environmental assessments runs from 1 February to 29 March.
Around 5000 local citizens, local municipalities and relevant stakeholders will receive a letter about the talks.
An environmental impact assessment for the onshore elements for Thor will meanwhile be carried out at the same time as the strategic environmental assessment, and the results from this will be published in the spring of 2021.
The environmental impact assessment of the project at sea will be carried out in the period 2022-24, after the winner of the tender for Thor has been appointed.
The project is to go up for auction later this year.
