The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) is preparing to issue a tender later this month seeking a technical advisor to help with the development of an energy island in the North Sea.
DEA said it has an existing framework agreement with a technical advisor, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
It therefor intends to enter into a new framework agreement with a technical advisor for the entire project of the North Sea energy island, including the final transfer process expected to take place in 2033.
DEA said it is looking for the provision of high-end technical advice in offshore construction, electrical transmission equipment, large and complex building and construction tasks, environmental conditions and sustainability, budgeting and budget management and tendering processes under EU legislation.
The tender is expected to be initiated on 18 May, with the expected deadline for receipt of tenders to be midday on 23 June.
