Administrators running the sale of the 10MW Dounreay Tri demo off Scotland have opened the book on the project to interested buyers.
Glasgow-based accountancy firm French Duncan said a so-called data room is now up and running for potential buyers to run the rule over the project.
The twin-turbine demo holds a valid planning consent, preliminary accreditation under the 3.5 Renewables Obligation, a grid connection agreement and a lease option for the seabed and cable route, according to the administrators.
Dounreay Tri must be commissioned by end September 2018 to secure RO payments, French Duncan added.
The project entered administration earlier this month due to a lack of funding and work has been suspended until investors are found.
The story was first revealed in subscriber-only reNEWS.
Swedish foundation designer Hexicon is among a group of shareholders backing the project.
