EEW SPC has completed the load-out of the first monopiles for the Baltica 2 offshore wind farm developed by Ørsted and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna.
The company said it will manufacture and deliver 77 monopiles in total, with production and transport aligned to the project schedule.
It added that operations at Rostock harbour provide a logistical advantage as the non-tidal port enables high-precision load-outs within optimal time windows.
This approach minimises standby costs for installation vessels and supports a smooth transition from fabrication to offshore deployment.
Baltica 2 has an installed capacity of up to 1.5GW and will supply green energy to around 2.5 million households.
The company stated that its work supports Poland’s energy transition and wider European clean energy goals.
