German developer EnBW has contracted UK company Manor Renewable Energy to provide the full temporary power package during turbine installation at the 497MW Hohe See offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The contract runs from this month based out of the port of Esbjerg in Denmark and covers generators, personnel and vessels.
Manor Renewable Energy general manager Brett Smith said: “We have a strong track record of temporary power delivery on German offshore wind projects and with that, a huge amount of lessons learnt which we will seek to implement into our offering with EnBW and the Hohe See project.”
Fred Olsen Windcarrier jack-up Brave Tern installed the first of 71 Siemens Gamesa 7.0-154 turbines at the project on 5 April.
The wind farm is due for completion later this year.
