UK outfit Manor Renewable Energy has been contracted by Siemens Gamesa to provide the full temporary power package of generators, personnel and vessels at EnBW’s 112MW Albatros offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
Working out of the base port of Esbjerg, Manor will start the job at Albatros in August.
Manor Renewable Energy general manager Brett Smith said: “We have a strong track record of temporary power delivery on German offshore wind projects and with that, a huge amount of lessons learnt which we will implement into our bespoke offering on the Albatros project; we look forward to delivering our services to Siemens Gamesa and continuing that relationship.”
Albatros is located 105km off the coast of Germany and will feature 16 Siemens Gamesa 7.0-154 turbines.
It is due for completion later this year.
