European Energy has moved into the public consultation period for the proposed 240MW Jammerland Bay offshore wind farm in Denmark.
The developer will present the final design plans for the project at an upcoming citizens’ meeting as part of the regulatory review process.

It follows the Danish Energy Agency’s approval last month of the project’s feasibility and environmental studies.
Between 16 and 21 turbines are planned for installation within a roughly 31 square-kilometre area in Jammerland Bay.
Once the public hearings are concluded, the DEA will decide whether to issue an establishment permit for the scheme.
