James Fisher has banked offshore wind contracts worth a total of around £30m, including two new jobs in the UK and Taiwan.
The marine services company has been tapped to carry out phase two of unexploded ordnance work and boulder clearance at ScottishPower Renewables’ 714MW East Anglia 1 wind farm off east England.
The scope includes decommissioning of a met mast and comes in addition to is ongoing construction support services and marine coordination and communications work at the site off Suffolk.
EA1 is under construction and is due online in 2020.
Elsewhere, Fisher landed an “initial contract” for unexploded ordnance and survey and structural monitoring in Taiwan.
Consultancy work for group engineering company EDS has also been lined up at the unnamed project.
The orders add to a previously confirmed marine coordination and communications for the 950MW Moray East off Scotland and unexploded ordnance and boulder clearance at the 860MW Triton Knoll, due online 2021-22.
