Flylogix has secured its first offshore renewables contract to support the proposed Moray FLOW-park in north Scotland.
The drone firm will carry out digital aerial surveys under a six-figure deal with Offshore Solutions Group, which is leading the floating offshore wind facility, Flylogix said.
The work will involve deploying drones to map wildlife in the Moray Firth to support environmental consenting, the company added.
A trial flight from Cruden Bay will collect data for submission to NatureScot as part of the project’s Environmental Impact Assessment.
The Moray FLOW-park is designed to provide temporary wet storage for floating offshore wind foundations to support turbine assembly, integration and deployment.
The contract runs until the end of 2026 and is expected to be followed by a larger two-year survey agreement.

ETZ Ltd has awarded Flylogix £25,000 from its Challenge Fund to support expansion into offshore renewables, backed by the Scottish Government’s Just Transition Fund.
