Van Oord has installed all 89 foundations at the 383MW Fryslan offshore wind farm on the IJsselemeer lake in the Netherlands.
A consortium of Van Oord and Siemens Gamesa called Zuiderzeewind is building the project.

The monopiles were fabricated by EEW.
Installation of the project’s 89 Siemens Gamesa 130-4.3MW turbines will start in the Spring.
Turbines are being installed in a hexagonal cluster formation in order to minimise the visual impact of the project.
