SeaRoc’s SeaPlanner system has managed a record quantity of project data during the ongoing construction of the 600MW Gemini offshore wind farm in the Dutch North Sea.
The company said the project has been supported by SeaPlanner since the beginning of 2015 and has recorded 105,395 personnel transfers.
It added that 64,942 were automated swipe card transfers – a method that reduces administration time for the marine coordinators based in Eemshaven, Netherlands.
SeaRoc SeaPlanner has provided data to the Gemini project team that includes: 121 project specific vessels tracked; 123 registered contractors; 3283 online inductions; 4427 total registered personnel; and 20,274 certification files.
SeaPlanner business development manager Dominic Stratton said: “The complexities of the Gemini project have supported us in the further development of our software.”
