The developer will make a separate application for onshore elements of the ScotWind scheme to Aberdeenshire Council by the end of next year.

The project would comprise up to 132 turbines and 300km of inter-array cables, according to filings.
The floater has been given grid connections at SSEN’s proposed Hurlie substation near Stonehaven from 2032.
However, firm hook-up dates are expected to be offered by the National Energy System Operator by early 2027 as part of its ongoing Connections Reform process.
