Vattenfall is about four weeks away from load out of the offshore substation for the 288MW Sandbank offshore wind farm.
Onshore testing of the substation is currently ongoing in Aalborg, the company said.
The substation, which has been built by Bladt Industries, Semco Maritime and ISC, will be installed offshore later this year.
First power from wind farm, which will be located in the German North Sea, is expected to feed into the grid before the end of 2016.
