SK Eco Plant will has won a contract for the transportation and installation of the foundations for South Korea’s 532MW Anma Offshore Wind Power.
SK Eco Plant will transport and install 38 jackets, expected to have a height of up to 74m and a weight of up to 1850t to support a 14MW wind turbine and blades.
The project site is located near Anma Island in Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do, and construction is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2024. Once completed, it is expected to be Korea’s first utility-scale offshore wind power project.
Equis is charge of developing the project.
