Subsea 7 has laid the first cables for Equinor’s 88MW Hywind Tampen offshore wind farm off Norway.
The company was awarded the contract for the project’s array and two export cables in 2019.

The first seven of the 11 turbines will come online later this year.
However, the installation of the final four has been delayed until next spring due to supply chain bottlenecks.
