Trianel has gone to market with a service contract for 32 Senvion turbines that will feature at its 200MW Borkum West 2.2 offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The Germany company is seeking bids from contractors to monitor, repair and maintain the 6.3MW units, which are currently being installed at the site.
Work would start six months after commissioning of the first turbine and last for between five and 15 years, according to a tender notice.
A final decision on duration will be taken prior to award.
Would-be bidders have until 23 September to file a tender.
Marine contractor Jan De Nul is currently installing the project’s Senvion hardware. A first unit (pictured) was erected earlier this month.
Borkum West 2.2 is located 45km north of Borkum in water depths of 30 metres. The wind farm is expected online later this year.
