Vattenfall has installed the 16th and final turbine at its 54.4MW Ray wind farm near Kirkwhelpington in Northumberland.
The wind farm is expected to be up and running in early 2017.
Vattenfall’s construction manager for Ray Paul Nickless said: “Moving forward we’ll be commissioning each of the turbines to enable the wind farm to be fully operational.”
Glasgow civil engineer RJ McLeod carried out the balance of plant works at the site featuring Senvion 3.4M104 turbines with a tip height of 125 metres.
