The construction of site tracks at SSE’s 173MW Clyde 2 wind farm extension in Scotland is almost complete.
Around 90% of the 35km of tracks and spine roads on site have been finalized, according to SSE.
The wind farm in South Lanarkshire will consist of 54 Siemens 3.2MW turbines.
The first components started arriving in July.
Jones Bros is delivering balance of plant as part of a joint venture with the project’s civil contractor Balfour Beatty on behalf of SSE.
