Enercon is investigating following a turbine nacelle fire on 12 October at the 42MW Rhede wind farm in Lower Saxony, Germany.
No one was injured by the incident. The turbine affected is an E-66 machine with a 1.8MW rating that went online in 2001, it is understood.

According to the wind farm operator, all turbines of the Rhede project are serviced by Enercon.
“The cause for the fire is yet unknown. Investigations are ongoing,” a spokesman for the manufacturer said.
