Envision Energy has published Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its wind turbines on the EPDItaly platform, a move it said provides internationally recognised “green passport” credentials for its turbines.
According to Envision, the declarations quantify impacts across the entire life cycle of its turbines, from raw material acquisition and manufacturing through use and end-of-life. The company said this includes benchmarks such as Global Warming Potential, Acidification Potential and Eutrophication Potential.
Envision added that its life cycle approach allows 85–90% material recyclability and demonstrates strong circular economy potential.
The company also said it is working with suppliers to decarbonise its supply chain, with 18% of key partners already achieving 100% renewable power use in 2024. It aims for full green electricity use across its core supply chain by 2028.
Envision stated that each turbine incorporates its Galileo SuperSense System, a digital twin platform for asset health management that extends lifespan, improves efficiency and lowers carbon intensity.
The company said the EPD publication underscores its leadership in sustainability, providing transparent benchmarks to support carbon reduction, net-zero progress and enhanced ESG performance.
