Digital Realty is to buy electricity from Eon Climate & Renewables North America’s 200.48MW Colbeck’s Corner wind farm in Texas.
Digital Realty is a global provider of data centre, colocation and interconnection solutions.
The wind farm is located in Carson and Gray counties, 37 miles east of Amarillo, and comprises 112 GE 1.79-100 turbines.
Almost 240 construction workers built Colbeck’s Corner and 16 personnel are stationed on-site day-to-day, Eon said.
