The asset management arm of Munich RE has acquired the 79MW Jenåsen wind farm in the Sundsvall municipality of Sweden from Eolus for €106m.
Power produced by the wind farm’s 23 Vestas V126 machines will be sold to Google via a power purchase agreement.
The acquisition is expected to be sown up after completion of the wind farm in the summer of 2018.
Jenåsen is the sixth wind farm developed by Eolus that has attracted investment from Munich RE.
Eolus will provide technical, operational and administrative services to the wind farm after the deal is complete.
