Global Power Generation (GPG), a 75:25 joint venture of Naturgy Energy Group and the Kuwait Investment Authority, is to build a 218MW wind farm in Australia following the signing of a power purchase agreement with Snowy Hydro.
The Ryan Corner project will be located in the state of Victoria approximately 300km from Melbourne and is estimated to require a total investment of A$359m.

It is expected to start operations in the second half 2022.
The 15-year PPA covers 75% of the output of the project, Naturgy said.
Ryan Corner will be Naturgy’s third investment in Australia, through GPG, with the other wind farms the operational 96MW Crookwell 2 and 180MW Berrybank 1, which is close to being operational.
