Nordex has secured 150MW of orders in its home market with the German manufacturer to deliver some 50 turbines to eleven wind farm projects.
The company said today it will deliver a range of machines with rotor diameters of 117 and 131 metres, hub heights of 134 and 140 metres, and premium service contracts of 15 years.
The contracts include the headline hardware deal for the 21.6MW Scharzenberg wind farm in Hesse for the Biedenkopf municipal utility and the municipality of Breidenbach. This wind farm has been developed by EAM Natur GmbH.
It has also taken the contract to supply turbines to the 16.8MW Gemünden wind farm for Verbands-Energie-Werk Gesellschaft für Erneuerbare Energien mbH.
In addition, the company has been installed as supplier at Thüga Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co’s 21.6MW Alsfeld-Lingelbach wind farm which is also in Hesse
All three wind farms will feature N117/2400 turbines.
Nordex has also won deals from ABO Wind for ten N131/3300s at the 33MW Uckley wind farm in Brandenburg with another five N131/3000s to go to a 15MW BayWa wind farm in the North-Rhine Westphalia.
