RWE has won a tender to develop 20MW of wind capacity near Ravensburg in southern Germany.
The developer was awarded the tender by municipality Forst Baden-Württemberg (ForstBW).

The sites are located in Leutkirch im Allgäu, about 40 km.
Julia Wolf, responsible for the development of RWE wind farms in southern Germany, said: “We are delighted with the award of the contract by ForstBW and will now start planning.
“For the success of the energy transition, we need the rapid expansion of renewable energy.
“Provided the green light is given for nature and species protection, forest areas such as here in Leutkirch also offer great potential for wind power.”
RWE operates around 90 onshore wind farms in Germany.
