2020 Renewables has been granted permission to build the eight-turbine Corlic Hill wind farm near Glasgow.
The Velocita business successfully appealed local authority rejection of the project, which is planned for an area near Greenock in Inverclyde.
Scottish officials ruled that any impacts from the project would be acceptable and that “the benefits of the proposal outweigh its adverse consequences”.
Corlic Hill was originally developed by Airtricity as an up to 55MW project but was rejected by Scottish ministers.
