Velocita Energy Developments has sold its French onshore wind business, including a 500MW project pipeline, to Envision Energy.
The projects are at various stages of development and are mainly located in the northeast of the country, Velocita said.
The deal also includes Velocita’s French team, which will continue to develop the portfolio of projects.
Envision Energy head of international business Felix Zhang said: “Envision is deeply committed to our new colleagues at Velocita and to sustainably developing the French renewable energy market.”
Velocita has also confirmed the sale to Irish renewables developer NTR of two wind farms in Scotland.
They are the under construction 35MW Airies scheme in Dumfries and Galloway and the operational 11.5MW Ardoch and Over Enoch facility in East Renfrewshire.
Airies is scheduled to be commissioned in early 2017.
