Siemens Gamesa has secured multiple orders for turbines totalling 233MW for wind farms in Spain from Brial, an unnamed energy company and WPD.
Brial has ordered 20 machines – a mix of 3.4-132, 2.1-114 and 2.6-126 hardware – for the Tinajeros, Agon, La Nava and Los Cierzos projects in Zaragoza.
The deal also includes operations and maintenance for 10 years.
A further 11 turbines with a combined capacity of 36MW will be supplied to an undisclosed wind farm also in Zaragoza.
Siemens Gamesa also confirmed it would supply 39 of its 3.4-132 turbines totalling 135MW to projects under development by WPD in Valladolid.
The majority of the blades for all the turbines will be made at the Aoiz factory in Navarre, the As Samozas factory in Galicia and the Moroccan facility in Tangier.
The nacelles will be manufactured at the Agreda plant in Soria.
