Vestas is to supply turbines totalling 31.05MW to Uhl Windkraft Projektierung for the Kohlenstraße wind farm in Baden-Württemberg in Germany.
The Danish manufacturer will deliver and commission nine V136-3.45MW machines on large diameter steel towers.
Supply and commissioning are expected to be finalised in the second half of 2017, Vestas said.
The contract also includes a 15-year active output management 4000 service agreement and a VestasOnline Scada solution.
Vestas Central Europe president Nils de Baar said: “By using our large diameter steel tower the site will feature hub heights of 149 metres to maximise energy output in low-wind conditions.”
