Vestas has opened a new turbine factory at Aquiraz in the Brazilian state of Ceara.
The plant will produce V150-4.2MW machines, the Danish company said.

Vestas added that it had sold V150 turbines in Brazil totalling 2.6GW in just one year.
The opening of the Aquiraz facility was attended by the Ceara governor Camilo Sobreira de Santana, the company said.
