Vestas has received a 125MW turbine order from an unnamed client for an undisclosed wind farm in the US.
The Danish manufacturer said the project will feature a mix of various machines from the company’s 2MW and 4MW platforms, including several V150-4.2MW turbines.
The order includes supply and commissioning of the hardware, as well as a multi-year service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance for the lifetime of the project.
Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2021 with commissioning set for the fourth quarter of the same year.

The client and project are undisclosed per the customer’s request.
