Vestas signed a deal with Marhult Vind for the supply and installation of seven V150 turbines for the 32MW Marhult wind farm in the Uppvidinge municipality in Sweden.
Delivery of the turbines is set to start in the second quarter of 2023, with commissioning due by the end of 2023, Vestas said.
Vestas will also provide a long-term Active Output Management 5000 service agreement for the project.
Marhult Vind is owned by Octopus Renewables, which recently acquired the wind farm from OX2, with the two to jointly build and operate the farm.
The project “will play an important role in growing renewable generation in Sweden, a market where we’re continuing to expand our footprint” said Octopus Renewables investment director Peter Dias.
Vestas also partnered with OX2 to supply the 86MW Karskruv project, which is located near the Marhult site.
