Vestas has received a 41MW turbine order for the Barranco del Agua 2 and the Carrugueiro wind parks in Spain.
The order is placed by Green Mind Ventures, part of GreenVolt, and includes the supply and installation of six V163-4.5MW (pictured) and three V136-4.5MW machines, as well as a 20-year Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement.

Hardware delivery is expected by the second quarter of 2025, with commissioning planned by the last quarter of 2025.
Since 1991, when Vestas installed its first turbine in Spain, the company has accumulated over 5.2GW of installed capacity in the country.
