WPD Windmanager said it is on course to open five offices by the end of 2020 to support its expansion.
Two of the new offices are in Germany, in Erkelenz and Bremerhaven, and the other three are in Spain, Chile and Sweden.
This year the company expects to grow its Swedish portfolio to 71MW in Sweden, its Spanish portfolio to 177MW and its Chilean portfolio to 370MW, expanding the capacity in markets outside of Germany to 2GW.
WPD Windmanager international business development manager Henning Rupke said: “For us it is quite an extraordinary situation to implement the structures for three new target countries at the same time, especially as we are also growing continuously in other countries such as France, Finland, Croatia and Poland.
“However, we are fully on target here and have expanded both the local teams and the investor relations department accordingly.”
WPD Windmanager’s competence centre for photovoltaics has been set up in Erkelenz, through the integration of Nature Power Service & Management.
WPD Windmanager managing director Ian-Paul Grimble said: “Our goal is to offer our customers the operational management of wind farms and solar farms from one source.
“We see a lot of potential, especially in the PV sector.”
