Aventus Energy has rebranded as Global Energy Solutions and secured four major renewable energy infrastructure contracts.
The company said the new identity aligns it with the wider Global brand of its parent company and positions it to target larger turnkey and framework energy infrastructure projects.
Global Energy Solutions added that it has clinched contracts with Inch Cape, Saipem, Chantier De L’Atlantique, CFHI, Dajin and CWHI across multiple renewable energy projects.
The contracts include a multi-million pound deal with Inch Cape Offshore for foundation completion activities on its 1.1GW offshore wind farm off the Angus coast.
The company has also secured a multi-scope contract delivering construction and installation work for CFHI, Dajin and CWHI through to October this year.
A welding and protective coating project for Chantier De L’Atlantique will support offshore substation hook-up works on the RWE-owned Nordseecluster A offshore wind farm in Germany.
Global Energy Solutions has further been awarded a five-year offshore wind framework contract with Saipem running until September 2031.
An additional operations and maintenance contract will cover statutory inspections and planned works on another UK offshore wind farm through 2026 and 2027.
“By bringing our brand closer to the wider Global group of businesses delivering energy and infrastructure solutions, we create greater opportunities for collaboration across the portfolio, giving us the platform to tender for – and deliver – larger framework contracts and more complex turnkey solutions, while offering our clients a broader range of services,” said Ross Thomson (pictured), managing director of Global Energy Solutions.
“This exciting new chapter for the business builds on the work we already do well, giving us the backing of a strong organisation with the scale and reputation to help the business reach its full potential.”
“I’m confident that Aventus Energy will continue to go from strength-to-strength as Global Energy Solutions.” said Gordon Farmer, board director of Global.
“Already, we are delighted to announce that GES has been awarded a number of significant contracts in the renewable space and I’m sure these are the just the latest of what will be many more.”
