Germany’s Federal Network Agency has completed the planning approval procedure for a further section of the extra-high-voltage lines of the SuedLink project.
The plan-approved route runs entirely through the territory of the Hanover region.
With this decision, TenneT TSO GmbH, as the transmission system operator, receives approval for the construction and operation of the power line.
This section is the seventh of the SuedLink for which a permit has been obtained.
The route begins in the area of the town of Neustadt am Rübenberge west of the village of Stöckendrebber.
The approximately 66-kilometre-long route connects the two sections B1 from Scheeßel to the border of the Heidekreis and the Hanover region as well as the B3 section from the Hanover / Hildesheim and Einbeck district border of projects 3 and 4 of the Federal Requirements Plan Act.
The Federal Network Agency is currently conducting planning approval procedures for both.
