Juliane Berghold has been appointed vice president for project management at German company Energiequelle.
Together with Gregor Weber, Berghold is responsible for the entire project business of the company headquartered in Kallinchen, Brandenburg.
Its team includes over 70 employees in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the wind, photovoltaic and power grid sectors.
Berghold has been working in renewable energy for more than 20 years, mainly in solar and has more than 15 years of management experience, most recently as CEO of a technology transfer company in the international business environment.
“In my first few days, I got to know Energiequelle as a professional, ambitious and at the same time friendly company with a personal touch.
“I am very much looking forward to my new role and the opportunity to actively help shape the energy transition again,” Berghold said.
Berghold will help Energiequelle achieve its goal of expanding into four new target countries by 2025.
To date, the company has installed over 750 renewable energy plants, with a total capacity of more than 1.4 GW worldwide.
The company plans to hire more than 50 new employees in 2022.
