Envision Energy has appointed Dan Hughes as director of construction and operations for its global offshore wind division.
Hughes was most recently head of O&M design and implementation at RWE before departing that role last week.

He has previously served as business development manager new markets and Humber Gateway maintenance and engineering manager for the German developer.
Hughes is the second former RWE senior executive to be recruited by Envision in the last five months.
Christian Schrimpf left his role as senior vice president and development director for continental Europe at RWE in October to become executive vice president of offshore wind at the Shanghai-based manufacturer.
