KGAL has appointed Carolin Vormann as head of institutional business at the German independent investment and asset manager.
“We are delighted to welcome Carolin to our senior management team as an experienced executive with outstanding contacts among our target clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland),” said KGAL co-chief executive and head of sales Florian Martin.
“With her extensive expertise in institutional sales, we will take an important strategic step towards enhancing our focus on the needs of our institutional clients”.
Vormann joins KGAL from HSBC, where she served as managing director, global relationship banker insurance in HSBC’s capital markets business in the DACH region.
Prior to her time at HSBC, she was head of non-bank financial intermediation at Commerzbank, where she headed up the insurance and pension fund teams.
She began her career in the insurance industry in Hanover having completed her professional training in insurance and passing two state examinations in law.
