An investigation is underway after a truck driver died while delivering goods to a Vestas blade manufacturing facility in Nakskov, Denmark.
The incident occurred on Thursday morning when the driver from one of the company’s suppliers was fatally injured.
A Vestas spokesperson said: “A truck driver delivering goods from our supplier was involved in a tragic incident at our Nakskov factory site, resulting in fatal injuries.
“Vestas would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and coworkers of the affected person.
“We will work closely with the supplier and the transportation company to investigate the accident.”
Local police posted on social media the man’s next of kin have not yet been informed as he is from overseas.
“There is no danger to other employees,” it added.
