Siemens Gamesa will showcase it portfolio of offshore, onshore and service products at the WindEnergy Hamburg 2018 trade fair from 25 to 28 September.
The focus will be on both digital and analogue solutions hosted from an Xpert-Center with staff from all the company’s business units.
Siemens Gamesa chief executive Markus Tacke will speak at the show, participating in a session on the current outlook for wind in Europe.
The company will also host a roof-topping ceremony for an energy storage prototype near Hamburg harbour and support the ‘Hack the Wind’ competition.
Hack the Wind features a microgrid consisting of three Siemens Gamesa wind turbines, an industrial customer and the electric-thermal energy storage facility. The objective is to demonstrate the value of such a solution.
