UKA has commissioned one wind turbine per day over a week in Germany.
The company said it energised seven turbines totalling 44.5MW, calling it a new record for the developer.
Guido Hinrichs, managing director project development Germany at UKA, said: “During this record week, with a new wind turbine commissioned every day, it has become very real to us that the UKA Group has moved into a new phase, with over 1.5 gigawatts of onshore wind under construction in Germany.”
He added: “This is great news for UKA and for all of our partners.”
UKA said the 80MW Vietlubbe wind farm is among the largest projects being built and commissioned by the group, noting that the scheme took 17 years to plan.
The developer said it has more than 2GW of wind farms moving through German approvals and a total German pipeline of more than 11GW across wind, solar and storage.
UKA added that local residents benefit from an electricity price bonus at Vietlubbe.
