Gamesa Electric has been selected to provide solar power stations to Engie’s 40MW Intipampa PV project in Peru.
The Spanish outfit said it was chosen, in part, due to its technical capabilities in high altitudes: Intipampa sits 2100m above sea level.
It will supply the project with nine 4.7MW solar power stations.
Construction, being undertaken by Engi’s Solaire Direct unit, is scheduled for completion later this year.
