Macquarie Infrastructure Corp subsidiary MIC Renewable Energy Holdings is to acquire the 80MW Utah Red Hills solar power facility from Scatec Solar.
The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The project, which is located in Iron County, was completed in December 2015 and is expected to start a 20-year power purchase agreement with PacifiCorp in December this year.
The transaction is subject to approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, as well as customary closing conditions and is expected to close before the end of 2016.
