Scatec Solar has closed the sale of the 104MW Utah Red Hills solar power plant to MIC Renewable Energy Holdings, which is owned by Macquarie Infrastructure Corp.
The sale generated gross cash proceeds to Scatec Solar of $28m, the Norwegian company said.
Following the deal, Scatec Solar said it holds 322MW of large-scale solar plants in operation.
The company has a backlog of projects with secured long-term offtake agreements of 731MW across several regions, in addition to a project pipeline of about 1.1GW.
