Vestas has secured an order for turbines totalling 183MW for an unnamed project and client in the US.
The contract is for V120-2.2 machines, with an unspecified number of turbines operating in 2MW.

The US project has a total nameplate capacity of 202MW, including previously purchased 2MW platform components.
Turbine delivery will start in the second quarter of 2020, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter next year.
The deal includes supply and commissioning of the hardware, as well as a 10-year service agreement.
Further details of the project have not been disclosed.
